46 / 30 crankset options

What are the options available for 46/30 cranksets? Was considering EEWings but don't think I can get that chainring option. Prefer something other than GRX. Bottom bracket most likely will be T47.

If you do the bikingreen rings, you can use any 110 BCD crankset you like.

It has been discussed here in depth before.
FSA has some, Dixna La crank, Sugino.
If you can live with 48/32 there is Chorus and Praxis.

Rotor Aldhu has 46/30 rings option (round or oval) - I just replaced a set of record 46/34 cranks with the rotor cranks are they are great - stiff enough for nice crisp shifting etc.

There are old 94mm bolt circle diameter cranks that would fit this just fine, but the chainrings themselves are getting more rare.

Unfortunately, these are NOT compatible with many cranksets as the tabs for the chainring bolts often interfere with the chain/chainring contact on the small ring. I found this out firsthand and had to return them.

I've been using fsa sl-k modular crankset:

You can get this from europe right now for less than $300 if you do some poking around. I've had these on 2 bikes now with zero issues.

What hasn't been discussed in depth here before? Times change, options change.

I saw the Port Royal crank from Engin on Instagram which is what sparked my interest in other options I might not be aware of. The spreadsheet listed above definitely has a few I didn't know about.

It's true that there are a lot more options now then just a few years ago. I have cobbled together a number of sub compact cranks, but that's not necessary anymore.

I am hoping Shimano goes to a a smaller BCD allowing 46/30 on their road cranks in the next generation, as shimano front shifting is really the gold standard in chainring design IMO.

Just because a 46/30 combination is available doesn't mean that it will work well with your choice of drivetrain. I could easily spend 3 to 5 times as much as a GRX crank and have something that looks pretty but doesn't shift perfectly with my SRAM AXS 12 speed drive trains. I've owned five GRX cranks and two Chorus 48/32 cranks that all worked perfectly. I've decided that I just don't need a 48/10 top gear. On certain descents I can actually use a 46/10 for a significant amount of time. I do have to correct the GRX chainline, but that's easy with washers behind each chain ring bolt. The GRX-610 cranks are usually under $150, but can be hard to find. I resorted to eBay for my last one.

I've never had a chain drop, but it's a big issue for some AXS owners with their original 46-33 or 48-35 cranks. There's no way to know how much of the problem might be due to the crank. There are claims of extreme sensitivity to the slightest misadjustment of the FD, but I have never experienced such a problem. I can set one up quickly the first time.
