This, as was mentioned, is a CXII... and "aero/tri" bike they made. I had one, steel frame/aero downtube/carbon stays. I sold it to another member here.

Corrosion on the BB shell, unlikely to be titanium.

It's a CXII CS.
That one was made early enough to have the nicer Reynolds carbon stay, but not early enough to get shifter bosses on the down tube.
The fork is an Ouzo Pro Aero.

I will say this... My Serotta CXII is one of the nicest steel bikes I have ridden. Very smooth, excellent power transfer, and I love the YELLOW!

It was the first serotta legend that I bought many years ago that brought me to this site. I have since sold it but I promise myself I will always keep at least one serotta in my stable. This is the one.

I wasn't going to name names, but yup that's the one. I'm 6'5 and with the short top tube on it I was going to set it up as a full on tri bike... but I'm over the tri bike phase now. Glad to hear you are still enjoying it.

That's the thing, it was designed as a tri bike but surprisingly I found it to have very, very good handling characteristics as a regular road bike, thus the reason why I decided to keep it.

Weisan pal how does that Easton EC90 fork ride, please? Stiff or plush, stable?

I have one of these forks sitting unused that I have never tried, and also have a yellow Lemond Maillot Jaune it will fit with well. This fork is very light weight, almost scary to use it is so light, half the weight of a Reynolds.

Marc pal, it actually worked really well with the Serotta. To be honest, I know very little about geometry and trails that kind of stuff, I just install it on and then ride it to see how it "feels", if it feels good, I keep it, if not, I try something else, in this case it was great.

I bet that serotta rides nice....but.... the kangaroo on the top tube is tearing it up!
