BTW, if you are feeling adventurous there is is an Indycar double header at Newton on July 17 and 18. Both are night races starting around 7:30 PM Central. |

That’s tempting, but I should stay away from anything that might result in more bike spending this year.
I haven’t been to an event in newton in a while. I may have to keep that in mind (pending crazy 2020) Last edited by thirdgenbird; 06-24-2020 at 11:53 PM. |

I am lucky in this case as I don't have CAAD7/CAAD8/Optimo frames in the same size. If I did I would be forced to pull the built frames down and see if there was 30G difference in frame weight. I am happy to measure ODs of tubes if that helps in any way. |

There wouldn't be any spending on your part other than the traveling to pick it up.

There would be spending if I decide I need a smaller size in blue

Oh man how did I miss this thread!
I got a CAAD10 back in 2013 as one of my first road bikes. Loved that bike. Bought a Tarmac and ended up going back to the CAAD. Still have this frame hanging in my basement. Has probably 15k miles on it. Recently picked up a Saeco CAAD (threaded BB) that I have been LOVING. Ride sooo good for a 16 year old aluminum frame. I'm still looking for some more info on this one. I may have glossed over it somewhere in this thread. This is technically a CAAD7 right? Did the team edition ones have the BB30? Which model is this one? |

Yes and Yes. The team bikes always used the Hollowgram crankset (BB30) or a powermeter in it's place. Beautiful bike btw.... that's one of my all time favorites.
