Weisan, it always amazes me (sorry, most of this has been gleaned from lurking) that you can ride such a range of sizes.
I'm @ 53.5-55 TT period! Anything else just doesn't feel right, no matter the stem length. At 53 and with lower back issues, I can still palm the floor. I just don't get it. More power to you!. I may not be the pea that Clean39 is, but wow! Hats that you can enjoy most everything! Tried a tall Penny Farthing yet?

My friend and teammate Buddy bought a new black Serotta Colorado II and raced it hard. He painted burgundy and sold it to me.

I painted Orange and rode it for a year or so and sold it to...

Mark number one. After a year or so and very little riding, he sold it to...

Mike. Mike rode it for a bit and let it sit for a few years and sold to...

Me again. I wanted a beater but after I cleaned it up I decided it was too nice so I sold it to...

A different friend named Mark. He rode it for a year or so and sold it to...

Jason. Jason rode it a bit and decided that a strict road bike wasn't for him so he sold it to...

Some dude I don't know.

That's the one that probably traveled the most miles - and to think, it's been to Singapore now too! And headed to France next year?

I do regret letting it go, but I'm also happy it's in good hands.

And really, that's how I feel about all the bikes that have come and gone.

My trees are very short.

Custom 2007 Serotta Nove built for me, and I have never thought of getting rid of it.

Custom 2010 Spectrum ti built for me; again would never sell.

Custom 2005 Serotta CSI that Kelly Bedford built for himself at the end of CSI production. I am the second owner and purchased it in 2009.

These three bikes have totally satisfied me - no other bikes since. I did buy a frame once but immediately passed it on.

Well, not sure if this is custom enough but I do have the whole owner history of it.

This is a Gentleman's Poodle and Grouse Society bike, done up originally by Lemond himself for friends in the biking world. I don't know if they are only a custom paint job or if there was more too the bike. With a pair of 1400 gram wheels on it the weight is 18 lbs 7 ozs with pedals, bottle cages, etc.

Here's Greg with the team and one of the bikes.

The first owner was Tim Swift, former Team Saturn rider.

Tim sold it to John Young who goes by Butter.

Butter sold it to Larry who is whom I got it from.

The bike as I got it:

It's pretty much the same now but I've put on a saddle more to my liking and after some serious hunting found the right Icon stem to swap out the recalled version that came with the bike.

Finally, here's one other shot (sort of) of the bike from one of the Lemond catalogs. The guy two behind Greg with the long blue sleeves is the original owner and yeah, that's the bike there.

Maybe. If you are the exact same size/measurements as the original owner, e.g., you both have sat short legs and long torso if the same size, then it would be custom. That’s what happened to me. I found a Calfee frameset many years ago that had a long top tube and the guy was the same size as me! So It worked! Of course, YMMV! Good Luck!

There's an interesting family tree. I always wondered how many of his "saplings" were out there...

Lemme think about this a minute...

So, in addition to Weisan-pal's contribution above, we have:

Holland Ti: ? > Jeff N. > Nobuseri > Clean39T > CPamplin
Serotta Legend Ti: ? > Jeff N. > Clean39T > CPamplin
Boulder Road Sport: Bici-Sonora > Clean39T > BicycleTricycle > Clean39T > ?
Ellis OS Road: Dave Wages > Clean39T > ?
Kirk Disc Cross: Dave Kirk > Clean39T > Kirk007 > ?
Hampsten/Moots Strada YBB: ? > Ken Robb > Clean39T > Kirk007 > BrewSmith
Ellis Strada: SamIAm > JR59 > Clean39T > ? > ?
Richard Sachs: ? > Clean39T > ?
Yamaguchi Team: ? > Clean39T > ?
Zanconato Road 32: ? > Clean39T > ?
Zanconato Scandium: ? > Clean39T > MMaddox
Seven Axiom SL: ? > Clean39T > ?
Pegoretti Marcelo: ? > Clean39T > ? > Clean39T > ?
Spectrum Ti Rando: ? > JR59 > Kirk007 > JR59 > Clean39T > ?
Davidson Ti: ? > Temeyone > Clean39T > ChristianWong
Kirk 29er: Dave Kirk > Clean39T > ?
Hampsten Road: ? >Clean39T > CPamplin
Della Santa: EchelonJohn > Clean39T > EchelonJohn > ?
Speedvagen: ? > SoCalSteve > Clean39T > ?
Alliance Road: Erik > Clean39T > ?

Lots of blanks to fill in as far as the names to/from (my memory isn't the best after a four-day weekend) - but I think those are all of the custom bikes that I've either bought here or sold here, and that I've put at least a few rides on along the way.. I can't say there was a single dud in the whole lot of them - some fit better than others of course. All were pretty incredible though for one reason or another. And most I would welcome back (the ones that fit at least) if they were to be offered and I had the space/funds to reabsorb.
