New Rim Brake Frame need advice on Group
Just acquired a new Rizzo (Madrid) steel rim brake frame and wonder if I should go with Sram Etap or Ultegra Di2 rim group. Any advice is appreciated as while I am experienced this is my first custom build and first post here

Are you able to internally run the etube from the battery to the rear mech through the chainstay on that frame?

Don’t think that this is available rim brake. EPS 11 speed rim brake groupset would work nice with this frame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm an etap fan and I've owned two sets of force AXS rim brake shifters. They worked fine, but now they're only made in the higher priced Red version. Nothing could be easier to install. Not a fan of SRAM cranks and their 13T difference at the crank. I've used Shimano GRX and Campy Chorus 48/32. The GRX requires 2.2 or 2.5mm shim washers to correct the chain line. If you get force cranks, get the improved D2 version.
There are some Force levers still around. https://www.excelsports.com/sram-for...hoCMOsQAvD_BwE |

Routing di2 on a steel frame is always a huge PITA. Go with SRAM.

This frame has Pegoretti vibes, so I would go with Campagnolo.

I love di2. Works perfect. Hoods are comfortable. And in my eyes, looks much better than sram.

I have an EPS 11s group if you're interested. It's the last generation so V3? or V4?

SR12 EPS is available for rim-brake. And available from me.. w. EE Gen 3 pretty cheapish --
Also have a line on Red AXS rim-brake if that's of interest. Easiest = SRAM Nicest and Prettiest = Campy EPS Middle-ground (nice, pretty, easy) = Shimano Di2
