Apple AirPods for riding maybe?

I finally decided to give the Apple air pods a chance and I'm considering riding with them or trying the idea out. A few years ago I read about people losing them on rides. Anyone have experience with them? I decided to go with the Pro 2 model for I thought they would be less likely to fly out compared to the new model.
