I was about halfway thru my 2hr ride when one of em got me.


Fairly wide suburban neighborhood with no obstructed sight distances


Had just enough time to realize 'this is going to hurt' when it started hurting

Hit either right before or right after his right front wheel and probably hit my back on the windscreen then the pavement. I was doing 18-20 he was likely doing 25-30.

As I sat there in the street wheezing, trying to catch my breath, the ambulance then the cops showed up. Must've been a slow Saturday cause there were 2 cop cars... I created quite the scene: traffic stopping, cops, ambulance, drivers that hopefully saw the whole thing (cause I only saw fender, hood, sky, pavement)

Blunt force trauma hurts. Cars hurt. Pavement hurts. *I* hurt
