Campagnolo Chorus 12s on allroad/road+ bike with wider than 32 tires?
Hello,
Reading through the Campy technical docs, I see that the Chorus 12s front derailleur is built to support up to 32mm tires... "Design of the 2x12 speed front derailleur and its trajectory angle mean wide tires measuring up to 32 mm can be used". I've seen builds where it's quite a bit wider on frames built with 400-440 chainstay. Is anyone here riding a allroad bike with a Campagnolo FD and wider tires? I've seen one build, the Above Category Open U.P.P.E.R., with a Mechanical Super Record groupset and running the Compass Switchback Hill 650bx48mm tires. |
