Wilier Identification

I recently bought a Wilier Triestina from a nice gent right here on Paceline (thanks Ted!). I really only bought it to ride/train on, and it's absolutely fantastic for that.

However, I started getting curious about the bike's origins. I've search the internet and only come up with Wilier's from the 90's that were made of Scandium like the one Pantani rode back in the day. I can't find any info/catalogs on aluminum Wilier's from this era - even though I doubt they're rare (except maybe here in the US).

Anyone have any further info on the bike? It would be very appreciated!
