I agree. We're currently spending $10K on my wife's Chevy 2500 to replace the turbo, diesel particulate filter, and EGR. The parts are new OEM. A new diesel Chevy 2500 LTZ is $80K, and we know the history of this truck, all the factory recommended maintenance has been done, the compression is good, and we just had the front/rear differentials serviced along with a fluid flush and fill of the transfer case, and the transmission filter and fluid. $10K should give us many more years of life. A diesel pickup that is properly maintained should get 400-500K miles and likely go through at least one turbo.
