the i3 is actually a pretty cool car, carbon tub and had a few things ahead of its time. Yes its ugly but people that had it actually liked it from what I have seen.


Also I thought BMW was selling a ton of cars, at least any M car good luck finding one, they are all sold out with months out to get one... Not that I want another, the new stuff drives amazing but its heavy and not the look I am into

Thank God. That is the first bmw I’ve seen since about 2002 that I would want. I like it all but the grill. Would love to see a little kidney heritage there as well. I miss the days when you could easily identify the sedans by the size of the grill. I’d also like a solid roof, please. Unless that glass is electro fluorescent dimming I feel I would bake in there. Bravo!

I agree about the kidneys. I’m not a BMW nut (my brother is) but I do appreciate that the grilles were essentially iconography, and really well expressed, on the older models. They could ground their designs with that classic element and still go forward.

I'll stick with their design themes in the newish 330e.

We were lucky to travel throughout Germany, Switzerland, Slovenia and Austria in this beauty in June and July with my wife's family.

It was a rocketship on the Autobahn and actually got pretty decent mileage.

Plenty of room for our luggage and my fly rods.

The only "homage to the 2002" that I see is the trapezoidal cabin, and even that is faint. My 2002 was one of my favorite cars but this is a hard pass.

Bmw is putting some very ugly models on the streets recently, IMO. The xm leads the way with the 7 series closely behind.

I'm getting in line for a new Landcruiser 1958, so it's all good.

None of the current X models do that much for me.
