That could be someone’s only bike.

I see some of these doing park laps around here, and while the finish is phenomenal, the lines in the front of the bike between the stem, headtube and fork just don't work for me

My No. 22 Great Divide rim brake is one of the smoothest riding bikes I’ve ever thrown a leg over. I’m just not a fan of the integrated stem or the over the top anodizing. Just a personal preference.

Its the stem that kills it for me. The rest I can deal with. |

I'm with you. These integrated stems look like hell and I hope the look of them is a fad. Hell, I would like to see the internal routing disappear completely but that is unlikely. For now at least.

Yeah, I’d love an Aurora with conventional stem / routing.

I love this one! I have seen a lot of the new stuff prior to the release and show bikes before they make it to the shows or customers. The guys designing and producing the welded bikes are top notch.
My buddy Daryn who does all the finish work knows how to make a bike look pretty and probably packed up any of the bikes I sold to Paceliners prior to his hiring at No22! Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk |

The stem is killing it for me. Even when builders use the Chris King enve integrated system, it just looks far too bulky on a metal bike. I'm ok with internal routing for hydro but they need a cleaner solution for metal bikes.

I guess it looks more aggressive for photos but for a fat tire fender bike that saddle/bar drop looks excessive.
I wonder what the general age bracket of folks who buy a No22 is? I’m guessing the younger guns in the sport either can’t afford high boot titanium or don’t want it. I’m old now and out of touch with modern stuff; but that front end is just ugly and inelegant in my world; and let’s face it; if I’m going to drop a big check for a custom frame; it would have to be nice to look at for me. It’s a cool bike though. I’m sure it works very well.
