Serotta tandem?

Anyone have an idea what this frame is? It doesn't look very much like a Serotta.

Most likely a Serotta. They did build tandems, damn good ones, by customer request.

That's the real deal. I think it's from the mid 1980's or so.

The seat stays (where they attach to the seat tube/top tube) look like a Dave Kirk touch.

Assuming it doesn't need a full-blown restoration (and the geometry works for you) the Craigslist tandem looks like a good deal.
