New Route Werks Big handlebar bag - triple accessory Mount
Triple accessory mounts on top are fantastic - And I can just 3D print nub accessories instead of paying $30 for them
How do people feel about this? Built besides the high stack needed, My interest is really peaked with this new age rando bag style. It would be good if I could lean this against swood T-Rack or something to make sure it doesn't dip too low https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...-handlebar-bag |

I got the email but haven't looked into it. If it shares the same mount as the smaller one I'm listening.

I’ve used the smaller bag on some really rough, long-ish (70 - 100 miles), off-road rides and it worked great. Really nice to have food and gear accessible without getting off the bike. The qr mount is pretty slick. Being able to mount my phone and a Garmin on the lid of the bigger bag would be a plus.

I looked at it, I have the smaller one. It says the big one works with 40cm bars but I'm not sure I agree. I felt like the small one is too tight with 40cm bars (especially if using the light nubs) and was better with a 42 or 44. The smaller bag does have a reputation for the lid rattling (but the mount is solid) and it's heavier than some options due to its construction.

Ugh, I think I'm going to do it
It just seems like it ticks all the boxes besides weight, If my cockpit does look busy whatever |

I’ve had the original one for a long time, and this looks to solve a couple of gripes for me with the padded underside of lid and size increase.
As far as I can tell it’s the same mount from the first series. You can generally solve the lid rattling on rough surfaces (mine has done a lot of gravel rides) with some strategically placed bits of bar tap. Otherwise it’s always my camera bouncing around in there. I’ve never had the mount move on me. |

- The quick attachment is neat.
- I am sure some will really like having 3 mounts plus light posts, but I can't imagine needing to carry that much stuff on my bars so it isn't appealing to me. - 6L is probably pretty useful for most that will rock this for party pace rides. - Unless it's able to hold like 13L and replace a from basket bag, I have yet to need anything larger than a 1.5L bar bag up front. |

Wahoo, Garmin, Karoo all running at the same time, best 2 out 3 wins for routing. So you never have to decide which bike computer to buy. |

I am curious how long that mount lasts with a bag that big. They are not listing a weight requirement but this new bigger bag seems to be way into the size range people typically use a much beefier mount for (rack, decaleur, etc..).
Have these really survived without the bar mount breaking since it seems to support the weight on a beam? Cool looking design though, great way to bring something practical to bikes not designed for it. |
