Good places to rent a road bike in Los Angeles

If anyone has tips on where to rent a road bike for a week, I'd appreciate it.

I'll be out in the western part of the city: UCLA toward Santa Monica.

Thanks!

if you need the bike for a few days I think its worth getting rapha RCC and then renting through them. $25/day for canyons + the $200 membership that gets you free coffee amongst other things.

I looked to rent bikes in LA and they were $100/day

I used Synaptic for a couple day rental and it was soooo easy - got a Focus with DI2. They brought the bike to me and picked it up. http://synapticcycles.com

I was staying in a hotel downtown.

Have a neighbor who also uses them frequently for his work travels to the LA area.

What size are you?

Talk to Kollbi @ Cynergy. He's a pal.

Helens is good too. If you go that route call I. Martin and talk to Jaime (that's Spanish) or Fred.

You will need months in advance to rent bikes from Rapha if you are in the RCC. Also, for an extra $10, you get full insurance. Totally worth it.
