Today's Ride with Pic

I took advantage of a few hours off from work and a break in the weather to take a 20 mile mixed dirt/pavement ride on my Psychlo-X. It was wet, bumpy, slippery and fun! I snapped this pic from the top of the climb, looking SW towards Morro Bay onto the Pacific Ocean. I thought you might enjoy it.
Cheers,
Steve

Oh come on, this isn't fair. We have another snow storm coming tonight and tomorrow.

Beautiful view; very jealous.

a balmy 18 degrees

I took advantage of the weather warming to 18 and the ice melting off the roads to get outside for 2 hours of riding hills in the city... Obviously not worth taking pics:-( But better than the basement!

nice PsychloX!

We had one day (yesterday) of good weather since...I can't remember when. Rushed out and got a quick ride in. Sooo glad when this storm cycle breaks.

I went on the same ride last week and came back soaked to the skin and muddy. It was raining and really foggy with 30+ knot gusts. Today was definitely a better day to take pics.
I love riding on these transitional days...everything wet, green with beautiful clouds.

I have taken advantage . . .

. . . of my status as a Moderator to obtain Steve's home address and will supply it to anyone who promises to go immediately to that address and slit his tires!

BBD . . . waiting for snowstorm!

BBD,
Until you make good on your last...umm...promise, in response to my "Sunny Calif Ride Report" thread:

OK, Steve . . .

We still have plenty of that pavement marker pink paint left after hitting Thompson's house. We could find YOUR house, too!

I feel I have little to fear.

Besides, I like Dogdrivers suggestion better, except for the part about drinking my beer.
As fair warning do Dogdriver, my 'guest accommodations' consist of a 9x18 shed shared with several bicycles and 3 motorcycles. The dog will want to sleep with you, too.

No worries-- If you want a bed in my house, you have to talk one of the kids into sleeping on the floor...

It'll take a very long time for ice to melt at 18*F and if it's currently 18*C it won't take long at all.
You're in a comfortably predictable spot right now!
