OT: What the heck, Silverfish Longboarding forum is gone

I was in the process of following up to flydhest's discussion on skateboards, and was going to refer him to www.silverfishlongboarding.com as a resource for all things related to longboards...but it's gone Last time I looked it was a thriving forum, what the heck happened?

I learned a lot on that forum. I see more people on longboards all the time and am really surprised they pulled the plug.

I agree, it wasn't like participation had fallen off, there always seemed to be activity going on. There was a ton of information there and it's really a shame it wasn't archived before the plug was pulled.

There was a ton of great information on that forum...... ugg.

I've been finding good info on YouTube. Like most stuff online, there's mostly a lot of useless postings, and some slightly useful postings, and then you'll have some postings that are brilliant. Here's a YouTube video posting an Long Distance Pumping setup for a "Surfy Ride" :
