Help: Disc Brake Adapter

I think I over thunk this and confused myself.

I have an Enve CX fork with post mount disc brake configuration which supports a 140mm rotor. I wish to got to a 160mm rotor.

Can some help me with the shimano adapter coding

SM-MA-F160 P/S ?..

Or suggest an alternate adapter to order?

Btw.. the calipers are sram force CX post mount

Many thanks.

The Shimano ESMMAF180PP2 will actually work. It's just a +20mm 74mm post to post. No idea why they specifically call it a 180 but it's what I'm running on my TA Enve with a 160mm rotor, works perfectly and is pretty cheap compared to the other adapters out there. The SM-MA90-F180PP would be fine too, just the xtr version.

As @commonguy001 also stated, I use Shimano SM-MA90 F/R180p/p (which is Mount Adapter, Front/Rear ,180, Post/Post). Because it's a 140mm mount it only raise brake caliper 20mm. I would also suggest using name brand adapters as the off brands are not always to spec and you may get issues that arise from them. -J

(SM-MA-F160 P/S= Mount Adapter, Front 160mm, Post/I.S. mount for 54mm International Standard mount).

I'm pretty sure it's a part # change, newest, lighter version. Version 2.0 if you will.

The call it a "180" because mountain bikes (on which disk brakes belong ) have a default of 160 and going larger needs that adapter.

Good info, good to have it confirmed that it works.
