What picture hosting sites work here?

I have been using Google Photos for years but it doesn't seem to work here. What hosting service does?

I use google photos all the time here. I choose share option that creates a link, copy link, and share the link in my post.

Does the photo actually show up in the listing? Mine do not.

I use google photo and post link for lots of photos and if I want to post pics directly I use "Additional Options" and Manage Attachments to post pics directly, see below is posted pic.

One way is Imgur. Upload pics, then click on pic, you'll see "Copy Link ... "

Click on the three dots "..." (NOT on Copy Link). Then click "Get share links".

Where it says "BBCode (Forums) " click on the green "Copy Link" button.

Now paste the copied link into your post. You'll see something like img]https://i.imgur.com/d8oABCDEFG.jpg[/img <-- This is a fake link, and I've taken off the leading and trailing "[ ]" so it will show up in this post.

Note that if your pic is too big, it's going to take up all the screen space and more. To fix that and make it smaller, simply put an "l" (that's the lower case letter L ), right in front of the ".jpg" in your link, so it looks like l.jpg. Our fake link becomes img]https://i.imgur.com/d8oABCDEFGl.jpg[/img

For example, here's a pic of my cranks that's too big (that's what she said), followed by the same pic with the lower case l inserted :

I use Imgur.
easy app to upload to and free.

I've used Photobucket and Flickr too, but they wanted $ so I stopped using it.

I use the free version of Flickr because I only need to use it for Paceline and Bikeforums. For all other photo sharing, I use Google Photos.

Imgbb.com is what I use. It’s free and easy to upload from any device and share as a reduced size that is clickable to high resolution.

Hey, use whatever floats your boat, but as MoparPorsche pointed out, you can upload to The Paceline directly.

Just a couple of weeks ago I was viewing an old thread, and most of the externally hosted images were broken. All the images hosted on The Paceline were still good.

Here's the old thread: "Calling Out All Ti Bikes." What a shame!

When you post, just click the paper clip. A window opens that allows you to upload the image to this site.

That works if you're OK with dumbing down the photo to medium or low resolution.

That's a valid point, but there's no lower resolution than zero!

It might be helpful to share which photo hosting sites host one's images indefinitely.
