DC Area internal hub experts? Repair help sought.

Hi--trying to help out a friend of mine.

She's got a Batavus with a SRAM 5 speed internally geared hub that has persistent gear slippage. It's been to two shops who have "fixed" it only to have it return promptly.

Can anyone suggest a shop where they may be more familiar with the ins and outs of what is (admittedly) a slightly more complicated IGH than your standard nexus 3 speed.

thanks in advance,
paul

Have you tried Spokes in Arlington? I've experienced good results with their mechs before on some challenging fixes.

If Spokes can't do it, try Papillon Cycles on Columbia Pike in Arlington.
