There may not be any stems that are labeled 115mm -17 degrees, but not all stems are actually the length stated on the label. Many stems are actually up to +/-5mm from the labeled length. For example, 3T ARX stems were about 5mm longer than their labeled length, so "110mm" 3T ARX stem (like this one) is actually closer to 115mm long.

How about a 110mm -12 stem that has 1cm less spacer?

Seems like a good option. FWIW the logos come off pretty easily with acetone.
Though there will still be the “3T” cutout in the front plate.

The way Uno measures their +/-17° stems, the 110mm model is 115mm at -17°. I have one if you'd like to see measurements.

Not saying this isn't still relevant, or arguing the point - but I believe the stem manufacturing process, or some part of the process, has improved quite a bit sometime in the recent past. Or perhaps the QC process? Maybe not for all manufacturers, but for at least some.

I have had dozens of Shimano and Uno stems through my hands in the past couple years and to a one they are within <1mm of specified length. Contrast with the stems I was buying in 2013-2017 which were as you said +/-5mm with many actually greater than that.

I didn't think that the issue with the 3T ARX stems was manufacturing tolerances or any type of quality issue, I thought it was simply a difference in measurement method, somewhat like the UNO stems you mentioned. Maybe this could be analogous to how two 42cm handlebars can actually be different widths, because one is measured center-to-center and the other is measured outside-to-outside. For the 3T ARX stems, it is almost as if they measured the length from the bottom of the steerer clamp instead of from the center of the steerer clamp.

it is not light, but it's the right length and it is plenty stiff. I have since gone to a 110 Ritchey stem (after also trying a 120), adjusting bars/shifters/saddle to get close. A fitter might take issue.

I have a box in the basement full of 115 Cinelli 1A & 1R stems, along with some 110s and 120s. I miss the days of precise fit dimensions.
