Sunday ride

I headed out on a quick (for me) 40-miler this afternoon. I went west of town into the Coast Range you see on the horizon:

The little notch in the hills above is the Berryessa Gap. I did some rollers there and then headed back through young orchards:

Eventually, I made my way back to the bike path that leads into town:

Then I stopped at Cactus Corner, which is a local landmark:

I took a couple of shots of the new-to-me Kirk:

And then it was time to go home. I'm sorry if it's winter where you are.

I don't care what anybody says, that's all as good as it gets.

It was a really nice day. After a huge wind storm the past 36 hours, it calmed down a bit in the afternoon. The temperature was in the low 60s. I haven't been riding alone as much as I used to, and I enjoyed the quiet. I saw a few other folks out there—I promise that I waved to every single one of them!—but mostly appreciated the nice light and the time to think.

I've got them on Safari.

Nicely done. Until April or so, I'll be happy to soak up posts like this, so keep up the cruising. Beautiful bike.

Welp, those are much lower quality images, but maybe they're visible now? Let me know, please.
