Yup my wife shared the same email with me today, and I see a similar wear line on the sidewall of the front tire on our Radwagon 4. To be honest it doesn't look like much, but in light of the recall on this specific tire with the ribbed pattern on the sidewall we won't be riding ours either.

However! I did some sleuthing on Reddit and found a guy who replaced his Radwagon 4 tires with 2.75x18 inch motorcycle tires, which apparently are the correct size to fit our rims. I couldn't find the tires he used, but I did find these on Amazon and ordered a pair:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Notice the most recent review for these MMG tires claims to have used them to replace the Radwagon 4 tires. I should have them next week and I'll post an update after I attempt to install them.

Honestly a motorcycle tire seems more appropriate for the cargo bike. The load rating of 374 pounds is about right.

Oh a full refund on the cargo bike!? Or just for new tires?

We have about 500 miles on our Radwagon. Use it almost every day for quick trips around the neighborhood, like school drop-off and pickup. $140 bucks on a set of replacement tires is definitely worth it, I just hope these actually fit!

Told you so

Bicycle parts in a non Bicycle application is a bad recipe long term. Being a D2C company, bet that "dealer network" is excited to get working on this one

Surprised rad power is jumping on this grenade, doubt many of the offshore companies will

You mean how you said that it had custom wheels and tires just the other day? You certainly acted like it was something special and different then.

it sounds like you didn’t ride our build a rad because it is like a broken record here…they aren’t trash. I wouldn’t own or ride one if it was.
Days after saying you don't ride trash, you are planning on sending it back it, and buying a much nicer Tern instead.

Does a normal heavy duty bicycle tire not fit? Or is the RadPower rated for more weight than any bike tire can handle? Seems silly to spec rare moped tires if a bike tire will do.
