Question: Vittoria Corsa G2.0 Clincher

I just ordered/backordered a pair of these on sale from backcountry. I did read a comment that claimed these 25s have a larger profile than other 25s and thus couldnt get clearance to work.

Has anyone have a similar issue? These are intended for my De Rosa Primato which shouldn't have a problem at 25, but can't go bigger.

moved for you.

i do find these run big, especially compared to the old "open corsa" tires before they moved the the graphene style.

what rims are you mounting them on?

Really appreciate that! I have time to cancel order since they're not in stock.

I assumed a Primato can run 25s, but would hate to make that error.

These measure 27mm wide, and 24mm tall on 17mm rims according to rollingresistance.

Oh wow

My requirements for this bike are top tier skinwalls and was hoping for 25s. Any excellent alternatives out there?

If you like the Vittorias, get the 23c size. They should be about 25mm.

The Corsa G 1.0 is available in 23c from Excel at thirty bucks.

My only concern were reviews that said the 2.0 had supposedly resolved the puncture issues of 1.0.

But who knows with few anecdotal reviews.

Thank you for the lead!

i'd put in a wheel and tire that does fit and measure the clearance between the tire and the frame.

bear in mind that unless you have them pumped up to a million pounds when you put weight on the tire it will decrease in height slightly and plump out a bit on the sides.

I went with Vittoria Corsa G2.0 23mm; I don't think those 25s were going to fit on rear.
