Suspenders for winter tights?

Patagonia used to make a set of suspenders with plastic buckles and clips. I would like to run suspenders on my winter unpadded tights. Anyone make workout suspenders with buckles and clips that won't rust?

I picked up suspenders years ago and I’m still using them with no problems. I think I got them from Penney’s.

Carhartt suspenders work well with my wader belt.

I carry loads of stuff including a wading staff, net and water bottle on the belt and the suspenders help keep the belt in place.

Super strong clips!

Found a set of ski suspenders with plastic snaps so I'm good.

I don't even remember where or when I got these. Been at least 15 years.
Used mostly to hold up my snow pants.
Elastics still good. Hopefully they last for another 15 years.

Chums suspenders has plastic clips. I use them with Ibex knickers and they work well. Nothing to rust. They grip well to the thick woolen knickers. Might not work well with thin material. I think they’re intended for snow pants.

I used to have a set of those. I didn't use them much, so when they needed a small repair a couple of years ago, I threw them out. But I do remember where and when I bought them, at Yellow Jersey in Madison Wi. in 1978.
Now I wish I hadn't thrown them out. Finding narrow clip on suspenders isn't that easy.

Looking in the wrong place. Hand-sew on some plastic side-release buckles and use something like these. They work really well and let me reposition suspenders if I don't like where they're originally mounted.

MTB shorts and pants are useful sometimes and they generally don't come in bib versions.

I have some endura clothes that have snaps for snap-in inner shorts. I have thought they could be used for suspenders instead.

Please link to a set of bib tights that don't have a chamois.

I live in heart of Amishland so every store here has an unbelievable inventory of various suspenders.😊
Seriously though, I’ve used suspenders on my tights forever, since the 80’s. They work as well as bibs
