Acetone. Any of the large home supply places should carry different sizes. Of course nail polish remover is acetone based too. I had one I soaked in it did a few minutes and came off with very little elbow grease. Or more cautious would be apply with a soaked rag.

And me as well, even on your exact stem, an EA90 with same logos!

Acetone worked on mine but it took a LOT longer than I expected if I remember correctly. It always does.

I've used oven cleaner as well.

Why would you use oven cleaner, which is mostly sodium hydroxide, over acetone?

We have used acetone to remove graphics on stems and bars. I do leave the recommended torque settings on the stems so I don't have to remember these things!

Fingernail polish remover does a good job.

I will say that the Easton stem has one of the nicer, low-key logos that you'll see on a stem.

I doubt that GooGone would be effective here. Acetone/nail polish remover is the way to go.
That being said, referring to the photo of the older Easton model above: I was able to easily remove the logos from the sides of the stem, but was unable to remove the logo from the faceplate. Not sure why(?). In any event I took the easy way out and used a Sharpie on the front. |
