Anyone using a Wound Up fork?

Wondering how it shapes up. Thanks.

i have two. one on my spectrum and one on my hampsten. both feel good. tom said the wound-up was a shade more compliant than offer forks he uses. and steve chose it for tire clearance. both sort of disappear...don't notice anything bad or different, just a nice ride. not the prettiest forks but from the saddle, who sees 'em?

I have had one on my ti fixed for a few years. I really like the look and it has taken a fair amount of abuse. I have used the fork on fireroads and rough pavement and it has held up really well. Been at least 3 years now.

I have the full carbon one on my ti cross bike, it is the full carbon model and It works like a fork should. And it's disc as well.

Yep, have a long reach brake version on my Spectrum. I think they're kind of ugly bare, but painted to match the frame, I think they look pretty nice, with the alu crown. The ride of that bike is sublime and I can't tell you how much input the fork has in that, but it certainly doesn't suck.

Ugly, but I have beat the living poop out of one on my CX bike that I ride like an XC ATB and it feels stiff and bombproof.

Maybe a little lacking in aesthetics, but they make great forks, IMHO.

I've got one on my Seven and it's now 11 years old. I don't ride it much anymore, but it's got thousands of miles on it and has never shown any sign of fatigue, cracking, or breakdown. It's definitely not the lightest carbon fork out there (about 520 gms.), but it sure has been durable and reliable for me.
