Eight Months, Four Configurations

My cycling experiments are moving toward a close (aren't they?!).

I regret putting this photo together, as I don't want to admit something to myself here.

Anyway, here's a fun poll.

Which bike do you like best?

I voted None of the Above, mostly because I'm old-fashioned and prefer horizontal (or nearly so) top tubes.

But if you put a gun to my head and told me I had to choose between those four it would probably be the Look.

They all looked the same to me.

No wait, are you talking about your bike or the palm tree?

The Chapter 2 and the 3T are lower on my list because they have rear triangles with SS - ST connections way, way below the TT.

I think I'd rank them Orbea>3t>Chapter2>Look.

The bike you cant find at a cycling event.
I'm sure there is a bike fob out there with a very unique sound emission.
Perhaps it comes with the bike purchase, it should.

Subjective only, I agree with this list. The Orbea looks the best to me. I think the concave arc of some of the tubes on the Chapter2 and Look aren't very pleasant to my eye.

Most importantly - which one rides/feels the best to you?

The is the Paceline, you need a proper sample size
for scientific validity, say 5 more bikes.

Super slopers. They all do look quite similar really, at least to me.

Did any of them ride significantly differently?

I guess if I had to pick, the Chapter2 bike because it has Campag on it.

"They all look the same" says a forum full of people who could spot the differences between unpainted lugged steel frames from Kirk, Sachs, Pegoretti, Cinelli, or Colnago.

Which one rides the best and inspires you? Not based on appearance or aesthetics but on ride and handling? That’s the one.

My thoughts as well. However, looks like a stack of spacers on the Chapter Two to get the bar height you wanted.
