Semi OT: carbs to a smoothie

I like to drink a fruit/veggie smoothie w/ added whey protein powder before a ride. Usually fruit, cuke, spinach, whole milk yogurt and a scoop whey powder.
I would like to add some form of carbohydrate to it as well.
I was thinking about a powdered weight gain but not looking to gain any weight. My son says add some oatmeal.
Any other suggestions??

I often add ground flax seed and/or wheat germ to my post-exercise smoothies - they have nutritional benefits and they add "body," which IMO enhances the mouth feel.

I add Naked PB to my smoothies. It's powdered peanuts and has a mix of protein and carbs. Easier than regular peanut butter.

unfortunately
most of these powders for shakes will be focusing in protein instead of carbs.
Though fruit do have a fair amount of carbs, add a banana if you aren't already doing that, Oats isn't a bad idea actually.
Soak them overnight if the consistency is too dry for the smoothie.

Maltodextrin would probably work well as it’s nearly flavorless
