Nice! I have a Fender Lead III that was my Christmas present 40 years ago this year. It was my first "nice" guitar. I've had quite a few nicer guitars since, but it still plays great and I'd never consider getting rid of it.
As for the OP's question, if there was only one bike and the entry point to cycling was $14K, I'm not sure that I'd be a cyclist. I'd choose to trail run, hike, or go driving in an older Boxster (or other fun car) that could be had for the same $14K instead.
