Looks like a fun and challenging route you have cooked up there!

What is the plan, if you don't mind sharing? Are you carrying your gear or having someone ferry it for you? Staying in hotels along the way?

I can't imagine [myself] wanting to attempt that on anything but very low gearing!

Funny you should mention coasters. The guy who created this route is a certifiable coaster nut and told me the same exact thing. We may discuss a visit to Kennywood.

As of now we're working out SAG/follow car and stays in hotels along the way. If that falls thru I've got a bike with racks that can haul clothing for overnight stays in hotels.

I'd very much prefer the SAG wagon.

Low(er) gearing will be a must if I want to enjoy myself. My son will be on 50/34 11-30. His Allez DSW should be showing up today and I'm hoping to build it up to weigh under 7 kg. I've got a 56cm Allez DSW that's JUST over 7kg I plan on using so we can "match".
