As long as you promise to maintain it with matching and proper cables/housing/tape, a non nut-saver seat (that's level and matches the drapes) and a nice stem that's as level as it is long. None of those hamstring/back/neck/hand issues that may make your new bike look like this:



Then...just maybe

Over the years, I too have grown to appreciate the aesthetics of a "proper" bike. There are rules as it were, and unless you're a triathlete or a troglodyte you should follow them
