There was actually a "bridge" (about 10-12" wide) that you could ride and make it across without dismounting for the barriers - it is tough to see in the video. The race promoters call these the "bad idea barriers."
I successfully cleared it the first two laps, but effed up the third lap! It did not end well, as you can see.
Then in the afternoon I rode in the fatbike race and cleared the bridge 3/3 (or was it 4/4?) times...
