With 126mm spacing, using a 8&up speed freehub introduces more wheel dish than would have been prudent at the time (hence the move to 130mm) and if you were to use a Dura-Ace (or Ultegra, etc.) 6s freewheel, you are then completely free to choose from hundreds of freewheel hubs which are comparative bargains for top shelf items.

I think you'd enjoy more benefits and flexibility, if you're sticking with 126mm, to go the route of a 6s freewheel and whatever freewheel hub you choose.[/

You may be on to something. I guess I didn’t consider that option but it appears way less expensive
