On days when I anticipate a longer or harder ride then my preferred meal is overnight oats with almond milk, dried cranberries, blueberries, a touch of maple syrup. chia seeds, small bit of Bob's Red Mill protein powder, and some flax meal. I usually have a small piece of toast with that.
Other days when it just a regular ride, nothing or else a piece of toast with a bit of homemade --- not too sweet -- cherry, strawberry, or fig jam.
