unfortunately the answer is not cut and dry; you can't just plug in dimensions and have an answer spit out. My impression is still that you are between sizes and might be better off with another model or brand, but there is really only one way to find out: buy it and try it. There is a famous adage I like to cite: one test is worth a thousand expert opinions. Buy the 53, slap a shorter stem if needed, ride a couple years and decide when it's time to upgrade whether you want to adjust the fit with the new bike.
