i had the same 'problem' with mine Veloflex Corsa,it was because of the carbon rims. I contacted Veloflex about this and they said it was because of the 'hooked bead' of carbon rims.(if i understand it correctly).
As far as i can see you also run them at carbon rims.
At the Veloflex package/box is the warning do not use them at carbon rims.This is why.
