i'll try and dig up a photo, but what i have done in the past on a winter fixed gear bike is this: cut a skinny piece of aluminum bar stock and riveted the fender end to the section of bar stock, then zip tied the bar stock flat against the seat tube way down by the BB.
it looks like a hack because it is a hack, but it's pretty far down and hard to see unless you're looking for it.
