These pants look good and, after the previous thread on winter riding with pants instead of tights, offer another option to my short but growing list.
Assos did make a full length pant some time ago, and they did tell me that they are thinking about a new version. I have the SturmNuss knicker version, which I really like. They're also discontinued, but i've stocked up. Assos didn't use DWR on the waterproof panels. I think it's an in-house textile. Most of their gear is made from proprietary textiles. Some of it works really well. Some not so well.

I did have Gore full length pants years ago. Waterproof, but a bit crispy and heavy, and not very well shaped. Too heavy below the knee, which created a pulling down effect over my knee caps during the pedal stroke. Sold them off.
