While an original owner of one of these bikes might only have to deal with the hassle of replacing a cracked frame...a second owner has no recourse via Cervelo's warranty.
Edit: I was pretty close to pulling the trigger on a used one a while back, but in the end decided that I didn't want to take the risk on a frame without a warrant that had a known problem with cracking.

Definitely read up all about the BB/cracking issues so looked closely for that. Though I don't think it was as common as some of the posts make it seem.
All frames have potential issues, I've been more wary of CF for this reason. But lots of friends with long term CF frames without issues. Wanted to give it a try!
