Built this for a coworker and have a Rival kit in the build queue for the shop. Rival kit is definitely a 'budget' option, but nice bike for the price. The detail work on the frame and finish quality is up there with the newest Ripley/Mojo 3/HD4 which is a huge improvement over the previous generation Hakkalugis.
Frame kit, Force 22 that I modified to control the dropper, Ibis carbon wheelset, KS Zeta dropper and XX1 10-42 cassette. He's got about 50 miles and 7000' on the bike in a couple days and he's loving it. 19 lbs even with pedals/cages. Not bad.
