That's third gen and use shift springs from LH ERGO...it 'should' hold the gear really well. If it's really old and used lots, the shifting 'gear' may be worn out. The other 'issue' is the shift, g springs were intentionally made 'weaker' in 1998 as 'some' complained about shifting being 'too stiff', so that may be an issue as well. A-B chorus or 1992/3 Chorus..if later, may be worn out as well..sloppy upper pivot.

SL-RE-019...only made from about 1992 thru 1994, so may be tough to find a new one. All the parts shown accounted for and assembled correctly?
