I lived in Japan for a year, Okinawa as a US Marine - I loved it. From my gear head buddies that all wanted to send their Skylines and Preludes home, the hardest part was converting the fuel line system and several other items with the fuel delivery and door beams for crash strength. It was very expensive and none of them were able to do it. $6k car was about $6k to pass inspection and shipping. Then the US insurance was pretty high for a RSD vehicle. Took me months to stop getting in the passenger side, btw. Cool times though!
