The OR jacket has Polartec® Alpha® material in the front, super light weight fill but super warm made for special forces. The arms, sides and back are Polartec® Power Dry® that is highly wicking.
I really like the OR jacket but can get warm, but can end up just wearing a short sleeve shirt underneath.

I have something like that OR jacket from North Face, but it hasn't been cold enough for me to run in it
I've been running in a North Face 1/4 zip 'sorta windblocking' fronted, fabric rear 'jersey' (for lack of a better word) lately. I get so hot running that I don't need much up top
I get that way riding too, but there's more windchill riding so I wear just a bit more
