More to the point, I find it hard to believe that anyone has gotten divorced because of their bicycle purchases or riding, per se. But very easy to believe that either of those could be blamed when there are deeper issues at play - such as the partner feeling neglected, under-valued, taken for granted, etc.

One of my goals for 2019 is to make the most of my non-cycling time so that I can check out to the garage or for a ride without any guilt or frustration that I have neglected things on the home-front that need attention or doing.
