26.0 stem a tight fit
Just posting this as a check in before I do something stupid...
1"/26.0 Salsa stem, 26.0 Soma HWY One bars
Was having trouble routing the stem around the bar bends, so did the flip the bolt and spread against a coin to open it up enough to get around (just the tiniest bit needed, it was really close).
With the stem in place, it's a very tight fit against the bars as I'm adjusting them. As far as I can tell, the stem doesn't seem distorted around the bars at all, it's probably just tolerance discrepancies between the two parts, but just wanted to check since I've really only used removable faceplate stems before now... How snug should the stem/bar interface be? Am I worrying about nothing?
