I rode D2 on 700x27-28c for a few years, then took the plunge for 650x42 for the past two years.
This year will be 700x35, which has proven to be my "goldilocks" tire.
Even on Hawks or Albany, or that short extra loop that seems more like a semi-dry creek than any kind of intentionally developed road - Just on the edge of Guilford - You know the one I mean, right?
