I last participated in 2015 doing the 160k (also did the 100k in 2014) and loved it. Actually thought 160k was easier and a lot more fun than the 100k route.
Both years, I used my road bike with 26mm gravel kings (28mm were sold out). Obviously had to dismount in maybe 1 or 2 sections on each one, but 26c was more than sufficient. Didn't flat both years.
Want to return again this year. Do they have same day registration? Don't really want to deal with mud and ****.
