I use my pellet grill the most for:
Reverse seared filet minions and tri tips
Spatchcocked turkey (everybodys favorite for thanksgiving) and whole chickens
Pork shoulders (incredibly easy, smoke it at 225 until the thermometer tells you to take it out)
Smoking peppers and vegetables for making salsas
Burgers and carne asade when using grill grates over an open flame.
I have a Yoder which allows you to grill over an open flame with gives the pellet grill a lot of flexibility.
For pellets, I have settled on Lumberjack as my favorite. They can be difficult to find in some parts.
