The Kimpton RiverPlace is a great hotel. I'd recommend that. Free happy hour, free bike rentals, walkable to all kinds of stuff.
If you don't have to stay in downtown, look up The Knotty Grotty on AirBnB. It's run by the owner of Rivelo (cool, tiny Rivendell dealer run).
